Morgan have once again made a sizeable donation to the Danelli Foundation to help them buy a much-needed ambulance. The Danelli Foundation is a day care centre based in Casalpusterlengo, Italy, and goes a long way to support the local community. The ambulance will be used to transport elderly people, people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility to and from the Danelli Foundation day care centre. Pyro Mastik developed in Chile We're pleased to say we have now been able to make our own Pyro Mastik product in local production. Pyro Mastik is a pumpable, highly insulating product, used for solving hot spots in boilers, combustion chambers and furnaces. It is installed externally on the equipment, without the need to stop operation. Pyro Mastik is low density, low cost and is thermally stable. Knowledge about how to make the product was transferred from our site in Argentina to Chile.
At Morgan, we are committed to developing our people through a range of learning platforms. ERP Domain Manager, Julie, was selected to develop her leadership skills on our internal training programme 'Ignite' and commented; "Through initiatives like Ignite, I continue to gain invaluable insights into leadership behaviours that empower teams and drive results. In particular, I continue to be reminded and learn so much about the importance of trust, active listening, ensuring all voices are heard, and mitigating unconscious bias in the workplace." We are looking forward to seeing how Julie and her fellow Ignite cohort progress on their leadership journeys.
Mental health with Morgan 🧠. Anxiety can trigger a lot of symptoms that differ person to person. As with a lot of health concerns, anxiety presents differently and has a large spectrum of severity. For some people, anxiety may be feelings of worry or nervousness, often without something specific to tie those emotions to. For others, anxiety may present in panic attacks or physical symptoms like shaking or hives. Just as the condition is different for everyone, so is the treatment. While there is no one cure for everyone, here are some steps to take to hopefully aid in feeling even slightly more content in your mind.
Mental health is just as important as our physical health. We spoke to Maria Antoniou, our Group HR Director. who shared with us that she makes time for her hobbies or things that make her think differently to take care of her mental health. Maria encourages people to talk about how they are feeling as she believes a problem shared is a problem halved. Her advice to better your mental wellbeing is “When you next have one of those sleepless nights when everything feels so overwhelming - the sheer action of ‘getting it out of your head’ by writing it down helps me enormously- try it!”. Thank you, Maria, for sharing your tips on how to look after your mental health!
