We recently welcomed the first cohort on our first early careers programme, ‘Spark,’. The programme is focused on empowering participants to take ownership and drive their career, and helps people prepare to progress to more senior or complex roles in the future. The programme aims to springboard those in the early stages of their career; from apprentices to school leaves and graduates. Shining potential and a commitment to developing is the criteria for our group. Our 2021 cohort of 22 Morgan candidates, based in 8 countries, passed their assessments to secure their place on this year's programme. We are excited to start this new chapter in developing our early careers talent at Morgan.

Doing things the right way, safely, and ethically is fundamental to the way we do business. Our suppliers play an important role in helping us achieve our safety and ethics objectives, therefore it is critical that we ensure our suppliers adhere to our high standards of conduct. This is why we've recently launched our Supplier Code of Conduct. From treating people fairly, to free and fair competition, our Code of Conduct ensures that we are able to maintain a safe, fair and ethical approach throughout all elements of our business at Morgan.
One of our commitments is 'to use water sustainably across our business'. It takes a lot of energy to make water safe to drink, and to treat sewerage, so by reducing our water consumption, we’re reducing our carbon footprint too. Our 2030 water goals are to reduce our overall water usage by 30% and to reduce our water usage in high stress areas by 30%. We can't achieve these goals without the positive actions of our sites, here are just a few of their recent water wins: St Marys closed loop system: installing a cooling tower, which allows the same water to be used again & again to cool machines, with no discharge= 90% reduction in water useage Augusta water recycling: connecting the nozzles used in blowing the product, to the blown water cooling system = 5.9 million gallons of water annually Learn more about our water goals below.

We know that we should be careful and think when we're reading and interacting with emails. But what harm can actually come from phishing? It's only an email, surely? Think again! You can stay safe and protected online by following these tips: 1. Think Before You Click: It's OK to click links on trusted sites, but be wary of links in unusual emails or instant messages. If in doubt, delete the communication. 2. Check your accounts regularly: keep an eye on your accounts and change your passwords regularly to keep them safe. 3. Be Wary of Pop-Ups: Pop-up windows are often phishing attempts. It’s recommended that you enable the pop-up blocker in your browser and allow pop-ups on a case-by-case review Stay safe online #BeCyberSmart
