  • Pervacio announces leadership team appointment. As a further indication of our intention to grow our business globally by providing end-to-end support to businesses in the reverse supply chain, we have appointed John Heinel as Vice President Business Operations. With a B.S. in Management, M.S. in Management Information Systems and more than 20 years’ product/technology experience in the mobile device and software industries, John has the ability to align complex business strategy with Pervacio’s enabling technologies to drive cost efficiencies for our customers. Operators in reverse logistics need to diagnose and repair a mobile device first time and at the lowest turnaround cost. Consistency relies on maintaining process quality on a global scale. By providing true end-to-end support, John will ensure our customers get the best out of Pervacio’s diagnostics and repair products to derive key efficiencies and reduce costs.

  • Pervacio is at the forefront of technological development in mobile diagnostics and data control and it’s vital that our marketing/communications strategy and customer value propositions keep pace with this innovation. We’ve therefore strengthened our global marketing team by appointing Andy Norris as Global Marketing Manager. Andy holds a BA Honours degree in Business Management with Marketing and is experienced in multiple marketing disciplines across domestic and international markets. Taking a lead role in delivering our strategic marketing plan, Andy will ensure it is succinct, engaging and adds value. Operating out of our new UK hub – home to Pervacio’s global marketing team – Andy will be involved in brand building, digital marketing, SEO optimization, search engine marketing, PR and events to support Pervacio’s continued organic growth worldwide. Since our aim is to sustain our ongoing technical recruitment program and support our development hubs around the world, we will continue to build our global marketing team and are currently recruiting a head of product marketing.

  • Europe is one of our most rapidly growing markets, so to help us develop existing partnerships and build relationships we have opened a new technology hub in the UK. Since our UK-incorporated business will play a key role in our growth plans, we were keen to operate from a recognized European destination. The decision to relocate to Birmingham and invest in a bigger and better resourced hub will enable us to satisfy the growing demands of current clients whilst also capitalizing on market opportunities as we continue to build our reputation as a global specialist in the end-to-end management of mobile devices. Engineering support, R&D and customer support services are all available from the new office, which also provides a base for our software architects and is home to our global marketing team. Our new UK hub is an exciting development as it gives us the opportunity to participate in and support programs around key emerging technologies and affords us continued access to an important skills base that will support recruitment and help to drive business growth.

  • Pervacio is providing NTT DOCOMO, INC. with innovative technology for use in its enhanced smartphone diagnostic services. Japan’s leading mobile operator and wholly-owned subsidiary NTT DOCOMO Ventures will roll out improved support in docomo shops across Japan and selected event venues via the newly upgraded Device Assist Tool (DAT). We’ve worked closely together since 2015 and are cementing our relationship further, after NTT DOCOMO acquired an equity stake in Pervacio, through NTT DOCOMO Ventures, last year. We’re proud to be partnering NTT DOCOMO and Asurion Japan to deliver leading edge diagnostics that will improve efficiency and enhance the end user experience. Complementing the device health checks currently available at NTT DOCOMO retail outlets, the enhanced DAT will enable staff to identify and resolve specific problems in-store, saving customers time and money. Pervacio will continue to collaborate with NTT DOCOMO to help the company improve end user satisfaction and give customers peace of mind under its “Declaration beyond” medium-term strategy to 2020.

  • We’re delighted to win a prestigious award from NTT DoCoMo for developing the best mobile device product for Japan. The Device Assist Tool (DAT) Award was achieved through our 3PL partnerships with NTT DoCoMo, the main mobile phone operator in Japan, and Asurion, a leading provider of device insurance, warranty and support services for mobile phones, consumer electronics and home appliances. NTT DoCoMo has developed DAT as a platform to provide total service support for the devices it sells. Thanks to our diagnostics tool, the carrier was able to save money and boost efficiencies whilst also enhancing the end user experience, resulting in a significant improvement to its customer satisfaction score (CSAT). One key benefit of our solution is that it enables the majority of perceived problems with mobile devices to be dealt with in-store. Retailers and consumers – both of whom may have limited technical knowledge – are empowered to identify and resolve the issue quickly without the device having to enter the reverse supply chain.

  • Alongside the new Automated Cosmetic Defect Check tool, we’ll be showcasing our latest robotics technology at Mobile World Congress (MWC). Supporting organizations that have embraced the move from a manual processing model to a semi-automated, software-driven solution, Pervacio Robotics© helps them to achieve service delivery transformation through robotic process automation. At MWC we’ll be demonstrating how advances in robotics technology mean we can now offer a cost-effective end-to-end solution on an even bigger scale with the capability to grow in line with a customer’s business needs. In 2017 Pervacio was the first company to introduce a fully integrated robotics solution for mobile processing warehouses operating in the forward and reverse supply chain. The next generation Pervacio Robotics© improves the effectiveness of ‘straight-through processing’ via faster process speeds and at a lower cost than other current market providers and includes new warehouse receiving and visual inspection capabilities.   • Automated Cosmetic Defect Check will make its global debut at Mobile World Congress (February 26 - March 1, 2018). An innovative new tool, it is designed to assess the condition of mobile phones and smart electronic devices at the point of return. Utilizing a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and our proprietary machine-learnt algorithm, it ushers objectivity – a hallmark of Pervacio’s Diagnostics tool for internal hardware diagnosis – into the grading of exterior cosmetic surface damage. Via imaging on all sides, Automated Cosmetic Defect Check establishes the definitive cosmetic condition of any given device – identifying everything from minor imperfections to heavily damaged devices that require complete external refurbishment. An important addition to our Revolution platform, Automated Cosmetic Defect Check enables our customers to realize significant operational efficiencies and reduce the costs associated with the return and trade-in of cosmetically damaged devices.   • As we continue to build our presence in key markets there are new opportunities across the business at all levels. To help drive results, operational excellence, cross-boundary collaboration and influence, we’re looking to recruit a senior program manager and computer analyst at our HQ in Dallas, USA, and a programme manager at our hub in Toronto. In Canada, we’ve already made a key senior appointment – Director of Program Management Karin Vierhuis will help us expand our existing markets and capitalize on strategic business opportunities across North America.
