RUDDING PARK 10K PARKRACE RETURNS SUPPORTING MARTIN HOUSE, YORKSHIRE CHILDREN’S CHARITY & BARNARDO’S 7 February 2024…// Following the success of last year’s event, we have announced the Rudding ParkRace – a 10K multi-terrain trail race – will return on Tuesday 14 May 2024. Once again, participants will get the chance to run a route created specifically for the event, amongst the 18th Century parkland of the privately-owned luxury resort. Matthew Wilkinson Head of Kitchens at Rudding Park and organiser of the event comments: “Last year we welcomed over 400 runners who brought friends and family to cheer them on towards the finishing line. With Rudding House as the backdrop for the prize giving, music, hog roast and refreshments as the sun set, it made for a great party vibe!

RUDDING PARK SUPPORYS THE MUSCLE HELP FOUNDATION CHARITY We are supporting a delicious fundraising campaign this November to raise money for children and young people living with MD. The chefs have included a special venison meatball dish on the Clocktower menu with £5 from every dish sold being donated directly to the charity. Guests can also make their own donation to the charity as well should they wish to via a QR code on the hotel’s menus.
RUDDING PARK HEAD GARDENER AWARDED COMMENDATION sarah Owen-Hughes was awarded a Branch Commendation for services to Horticulture by the Chartered Institute of Horticulture at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show held at Newby Hall 15 – 17 September. The award, nominated by other local horticulturists is in recognition of Sarah’s outstanding contribution to amenity and community Horticulture in the North of England, as well as her longstanding commitment to the Northern Branch.
RUDDING PARK ULTIMATE CHARITY GOLF CHALLENGE RAISES OVER £7,600 FOR SAINT MICHAEL’S HOSPICE ONE 4 BALL, 12 GOLF COURSES, 4 DAYS A team from Rudding Park have completed the ultimate golf challenge; playing all 12 golf courses in the Harrogate District Union over four consecutive days and raised over £7,600 for Saint Michaels Hospice, the Rudding Park Golf Captain’s charity.

Locally based Orb helps people improve their mental health & wellbeing and lead fuller lives through being creative, learning new skills and volunteering in a supporting and inclusive space.
