In recent days, SiteMinder opened its doors to host #SprintCampSydney, the first event for the Design Sprint Community in Sydney. The day included presentations from Google's head of design relations, Kai Haley, who discussed UX as a strategy must and the shift from design as an afterthought, and Tom Richardson, MD of APAC at InVision, who shared his insights on sprinting at an enterprise level. SiteMinder's own Jake Causby, Catherine Hyams, Archy Ramakumar, Negar H. and Thiago Guimaraes, as well as Google's Felix Wang, ran a series of sprint breakouts that practically implemented the model around a curated social challenge.
