✨ Happy New Week!✨ Today, We are excited to spotlight a phenomenal employee - Dieudonné Diouf, Customer Support Team Lead in Senegal. This is his story: “I joined Wave in February 2020. My arrival at Wave was motivated by my search for a place where I could lead a customer service in Senegal to show that it was possible to set up a support for customers and by customers. My experience at Wave is marked by a continuous learning process with our clients and my team members with whom I am working on this exciting adventure. Each day comes with new challenges and lessons that help shape the manager I aspire to be. One of the things I love most about my work at Wave is the passion and energy with which team members work to achieve our goals. I feel well surrounded in this mission to make life beautiful for everyone who touches our product or services. At Wave, “we maximize our rate of learning.” When I joined Wave, I spoke only French. I had always worked with this language, and part of my interview was in French because my English was almost at beginner level. But this value of maximizing our rate of learning encouraged me to bring my English level up to speed, to the point where I was able to make the first presentation of my deliverables and actively participate in meetings in English just after 3 months of joining. Wave offers a great work experience where everything is centered on innovation with an infusion of efficiency, productivity, and fun.
Happy Friday! At Wave, we work hard and like to have fun while at it. ✨ Happy Monday! ✨ Today, we are spotlighting the amazing Anyako Armbruster, our Lead Recruiter who is based out of Burkina Faso. Here’s what she says: “I joined Wave in October 2021 after I was outreached on LinkedIn. What I love the most about Wave is that it values the continent's talent and allows African intellectuals to return home to work for the development of Africa. The working conditions and benefits reflect generosity and I am appreciative of the People team for the work they do, regarding employee benefits and experience. At Wave, female leadership is encouraged, and there is perfect parity in the working conditions of genders. I am free to organize my working days, and above all, I have the chance to have a management that leads us to develop and progress. From a personal point of view, I enjoy working with lovely colleagues whose passion to make Africa the first cashless continent, comes from the heart. The Wave value that resonates with me the most is “We are embarrassingly honest” because Wave allows us to be our true selves. We can admit mistakes and learn from past challenges. I am very proud of Wave as an employer and as a Lead Recruiter, I am inviting all African talent to join us on the Wave ride." We are excited to have you on the team Anyako, and thank you for the great work and dedication in hiring exceptional talent at Wave! 💙 #recruiter #hiring #worklifebalance #greatculture #wave

Hear what he says about working at Wave: “I joined Wave at a time when I felt the need to evolve in a new sector and to face new challenges, especially in an English-speaking environment. I am delighted to say that I have had these needs met at Wave and I am happy to be part of Wave's mission to make Africa a cashless continent. I love working here because of the flexibility -the company takes into account the realities of employees, so we are productive no matter where, allowing us enough time to enjoy our family/friends and life in general. The Wave value that resonates with me the most is - We’re embarrassingly honest! At Wave, all opinions are taken into account regardless of the person, and this honest attitude contributes to the smooth running of the company.
