With more than 30 years’ experience in the Insurance sector, Caroline has held senior positions at Royal & Sun Alliance, LV=, and most recently as Claims Director at Allianz Personal. Her leadership and expertise will further strengthen our Claims team, support innovation, and drive operational excellence. Her appointment also further boosts female representation on our Board. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of seeing two of our incredible leadership academy programmes come to a close. Empower, which wrapped up two weeks ago with some fabulous *surprise* 😱 presentations and Engage, which finished today with outstanding presentations on their group projects to some of our board and their project sponsors. Empower has been such a joy to support and shadow with Michelle Hardwick and I’ve been blown away by the passion, honesty and energy that the cohort brought to every session. ♥️ Engage has been such a rewarding journey. This is the first leadership academy cohort I’ve led here at Weightmans, from their very first applications to the final day, and witnessing the group’s growth and personal development over the past year has been something really special. A huge thank-you to Richard Armitage for trusting me with the programme and handing it over so wholeheartedly. Despite some nerves, they absolutely smashed their final presentations today, and I couldn’t be prouder!! 🤩 It’s been a pleasure getting to know every one of you. Thank you for your openness, your hard work and the engagement you’ve showed at every step of the programme. I’m so excited to see where you all go next and the impact you’ll make. 🧡 Here’s to the future leaders you’re becoming - well done, all of you!

East Midlands Rainmaker Awards – 2025! 🎉 Last night I had the pleasure of attending the East Midlands Rainmaker Awards 2025, where Weightmans sponsored the drinks reception. It is safe to say our new Nottingham office is firmly on the map (just look at that balloon arch).
