The RTS Bursary scheme submission window for 2022 is officially open! Please help spread the word across your network. Details below and graphics attached. Minutes from the latest Digital Innovation Panel to follow in due course. ---------------------------------------------- The RTS wants the television industry to reflect the exciting, diverse and talented voices of the Britain of today, and that starts by changing the industry from the inside out. The RTS Bursary Scheme was launched in 2013 by our Royal Patron, the Prince of Wales. Since then it has evolved and expanded considerably, and we are proud to say we have supported over 240 Bursary Scholars to date, with approximately 80% of our graduating cohorts securing employment within the television broadcast industries. The RTS runs three pioneering schemes – the TV Production and Journalism Bursary, the Digital Innovation Bursary and the Steve Hewlett Scholarship. Hi everyone! for the next month we’ll be raising money for the Trussell Trust through a variety of activities and challenges to help us all have a bit of fun in these challenging times and hopefully raise a bit of cash at the same time. The first of these will be ‘YouView does Taskmaster’, an opportunity for you to compete against your colleagues in a range of challenges, with a new task released every week! This is an exceptionally worthy cause and will help families in the UK that rely on foodbanks, which are struggling to meet demand right now due to stockpiling and greater loss of jobs. Children are currently disproportionately affected, as those that normally get their food through free school meals are facing real hunger as a result of lock-down and school closures
