Today we are excited to announce that we have raised a $40 million investment round led by funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., with participation from existing investors. Glassdoor’s total financing to date is now approximately $200 million.
We are coming up on our 8th anniversary since we officially launched, and we are now one of the largest job aggregation engines in the world. No other jobs site offers as many job listings combined with such a vast array of workplace insights, including company ratings and reviews, CEO approval ratings, detailed pay data by job title, interview reviews, benefits reviews and office photos. We’ve built our company on the principles of transparency – and we are fundamentally redefining how people search for jobs and how companies recruit talent through these principles.
As a community, Glassdoor currently welcomes more than 30 million monthly unique users, while offering data on approximately 540,000 companies across 190 countries. Plus, we now have close to 4,000 employers partnering with us and taking advantage of our recruiting and employer branding solutions.
As an employer, we are 600 employees strong and hiring rapidly. In addition to announcing a new European HQ in Dublin, Ireland last year, we just added an office with 50 employees in Chicago. This latest round will support Glassdoor’s continued growth and investments in product, marketing, and people around the globe.
It’s an exciting time for Glassdoor. We are proud of the work we have done to date, and we look forward to continuing our mission of helping people everywhere find a job and company they love. We appreciate and give thanks to our users, employer partners, investors, and other stakeholders in helping us build a fast growing jobs and recruiting marketplace founded on increasing workplace transparency!
