Employers were forced to up their game in 2022 as UK-wide labour shortages gave workers the upper hand in the jobs market. Companies faced increased employee demands for flexibility and support to tackle the rising cost of living while battling crippling rises in inflation. So which employers have risen to the top for 2023 and really are the best places to work?

The Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards Best Places to Work 2023 list reveals where employees love their jobs - and global management consulting firm Bain & Company claims the top spot! Employees praised the company for its strong culture, supportive management, exciting people and excellent career prospects.

Based entirely on the reviews of employees, the Best Places to Work list comes at a time when workers are increasingly worried about their jobs.
