Job Title: Private Patient Manager

Trust : East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Hybrid (Onsite - Mount Vernon)

Pay Rates: - £28.87- £46.19

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duration: 3 Months (Then Subject to review)

About the Trust:

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. Hertfordshire has the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services across the main towns, including to and from all of the Trust sites.

What you can add:

• Act as project manager for identified capital projects and service developments
• Undertake strategic and service policy development in conjunction with Clinical Directors and professional leads taking overall responsibility for business planning to support corporate aims and objectives.
• Produce business cases for service developments ensuring that the implications of service changes or developments have been accurately assessed Staff Management
• Provide line management to the Service Co-ordinator(s) and other directorate staff working in specified departments
• Devise, develop and implement skill-mix reviews and other workforce planning strategies
• Ensure that appropriate recruitment and selection of staff takes place
• Appraise and ensure development plans are in place for staff directly managed by post holder
• Manage sickness absence to within agreed targets and ensure accurate records are kept in relevant service areas
• Ensure full compliance with employment legislation/associated codes of practice

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
