Pros
Flexible work from home schedule, free parking in office, merchandise discount, cheap concert tickets perk
Cons
The corporation pushes an inclusivity narrative on paper, but that’s not in practice with this department- particularly with neurodiversity and mental health advocacy. The “open concept” office was distracting (even in “quiet zones” you can clearly hear people, including management/leadership, gossiping about each other). The company offers medical leave, but department leadership will quietly retaliate if you actually use it. I was excited to work here, but from day one it was 100% clear that many coworkers and the manager operated like a sorority. I tried to keep to myself as much as possible, but management pushes “engagement and participation” by scheduling meetings where everyone is required to discuss Buzzfeed Quiz results or literally do “show and tell” with a personal item. Seriously. The company has plenty of clubs for those that want to socialize and make friends.. please don’t treat your team like a Girl Scout Troop.
