What is health insurance like at NatWest Group?

Pros

Good exposure to different areas of the business. You can do some good training, often provided by agencies they work with. Offer the ability to do secondment in different areas of Marketing. Great benefits - offered 30% on top of salary to use either for pension contributions, health insurance, extra holiday etc. Flexible working hours

Cons

Can be a bit clicky - if your face fits you'll do well. Have a regular restructuring in department - often leading to redundancies, so a lot of uncertainty Limited in what can be done due to being mainly owned by tax payer

Advice to Management

Review how promotion works so that it's fairer otherwise you'll end up losing good staff.

Does NatWest Group pay for a gym membership?

Pros

- Good benefits package - Gogarburn HQ has fabulous facilities (shops, gym, creche...) - Looked after me as an individual through poor health

Cons

- Some questionable top level business decisions - some seem more focused on big bosses making a name for themselves rather than truly thinking about the customer - continually changing its mind on whether projects/programmes go ahead - Re-orgs seem to be every 18months

Advice to Management

Focus energies onto being a true bank for Scotland rather than re-branding to NatWest (worlds longest take-over in reverse?)
