It’s quite boring if it comes to type of projects you work on as a designer (as spotify is quite established and they don’t change much), a lot of meetings that could be an email, teams don’t talk to each other which makes it something very frustrating

Good benefits but doesn’t compensate for very poor pay.

Managers just want to cover their butts. They can’t make decisions without senior managers and are afraid to so you end up with badly informed decisions filtering down. Way too much work for poor pay and isn’t competitive with the rest of the job market. They rely too heavily on people wanting to work in the music industry. Lack of trust in leadership who keep changing their minds to try and get their own promotions. There is literally a dog fight for any promotions that have 5+ stages. Incredibly hard to get promoted and any new job is over applied for as people want to get up the ladder.
