      London, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval

      Cons

In it for the long run

      Senior manager
      Current employee
      Prague
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great work life balance, competitive salary and benefit package (company car, retirement fund, life insurance plan from Senior Manager level), all the perks of an established global company.

      Cons

Although every employee is equal to their peers, employees in the head quarters do seem to be more equal than others in terms of perks and job opportunities. Some career progressions do not seem justified by performance but rather based on networking.

      Wonderful company with great benefits

      Senior engineering manager
      Current employee
      Copenhagen, Capital Region
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great work life balance, great benefits, resonable salary.

      Cons

Can be very bureaucratic to navigate and being comfortable productivity from people is not always at the highest.

Go elsewhere for a fulfilling tech role

      Data specialist
      Former employee
      London, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      - 50% Lego discount, obviously - generous bonus considering it's a toy company - pretty casual office attire - work life balance pretty good

      Cons

      - no growth within teams unless someone leaves. - no ambition to grow talent internally so lose motivation quickly. - salaries are not competitive for the field at all - they are riding on the company name a lot with this. Please don't let them. - a lot of the tech is pretty fundamental so not much challenge past the first few months for newcomers. - a lot of management and direction changes the past few years I have no confidence it'll settle soon either. - just because the office looks fun and the product is a loved brand that people think is cool, it doesn't mean it's a good career move. - no one under VP level can talk at events (unless exceptionally agreed upon but I never heard of it happen outside of small lunch&learns once or twice) so hard to network and grow as a department within the industry. - felt like it put my career on hold all in all, absolutely do not recommend the internal tech department, other companies offer more interesting work, better salaries, better benefits (a lot is quite standard apart from the discount). - you can get on well with management as people, but never really saw much advocating for teams higher than that which stunts growth and recognition past your immediate teams. - a culture shock on my part I didn't enjoy and this may just be me, but I found the need for unanimous agreement for decision-making really hard, and suddenly decisions made on things when teams should have been consulted, e.g. the constant reorgs.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Great pay, ability to work from home on some days, a large amount of benefits, the office is very modern and pleasant to work in

      Cons

Very strict rules about showing up in the office, despite the fact that the company is located in an area that no one wants to live in, and therefore many are forced to commute for very long distances
