      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (New York, NY) in May 2015

      Interview

The process was fast. first interview was over the phone with one of the chief architects there, then a 3 hours interview face to face with 2 rounds of 2 people. One of the people there was extremely rude, he checked his phone during the session, left early while I was talking and in general was very arrogant. Can't work with people like him. The pay that they offered is below the market standards so I said no. Say yes if you want to work on a boring legacy corporate place.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ADP (New York, NY) in Nov 2019

      Interview

Systematic process. Had multiple rounds but done very professionally. Covered a gamut of topics. Always kept me in the loop and was well coordinated even though it was across many time zones.

      Chief Architect Interview

      21 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ADP in Jan 2017

      Interview

As far as the process went, I had one phone interview with the HR recruiter, then a second phone interview with the hiring manager. The two interviews were a few days apart. The first was trying to determine cultural fit, then the second was how I would fit in with the role and trying to determine my communication skills via a phone interview (since this would be a large portion of the job. Both interviews were what I would expect for the position. I rated this negative because I never heard anything after the second interview. If I was no longer a candidate, the HR recruiter should have sent me a brief note letting me know as such, e.g. "Thank you for your interest in ADP, but the position has already been filled." I'm not sure if this non-activity means I'm not good for that position or for any other, and am not sure if I should apply for other positions within ADP. It would literally take 40 seconds to fill in an email template for a rejected candidate. Feedback on the interview and the reason I wasn't considered would have been invaluable as well. But hearing nothing is rude, particularly from an internal recruiter. I would expect more from a large company specializing in Human Resources and Payroll systems and services.

I'm filling this out a couple of months later; nothing really stands out as unusual or difficult.
