I was contacted by the very friendly recruiter, and after an initial 20 to 30 min phone screening, she let me know that I sounded like a good match for one of their clients. She invited me to a face to face interview with her and her manager in their office the next week. She asked an updated resume, recent portfolio pieces or code,etc.. The in person interview went very well and they gave me a good background on AIM Consulting's personal approach, which doesn't focus on just putting bodies in positions. I appreciated this frank approach. They also had a position that they already had considered me a match for at the outset. So I was not wasting time. They had me speak to the initial interviewer, her manager, and asked my level of interest in the position. As things progressed well, they also asked me for my honest interest in accepting an offer should the interview with the client go well. So they give honesty, but also expect it out of candidates. Very nice approach.
