I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AMR
Interview
They start with a skills test first, usually its 2-4 scenarios and if you pass, verbal interview! That part is usually held by a senior management or EMT who works there, they want to know about you and also ask some very basic hypotheticals that are similar to what was learned in EMT school
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They want to know you're a competent EMT if they were to put you in the field, knowing things like the BE-FAST definition and how to run a code.
Straight forward and streamlined, nice interviewers, skills assessment after interview to verify proper skills, pertinent questions to why you would or should get the job, overall a good experience and would recommend to others
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMR (Richland, WA) in Dec 2025
Interview
There was two people interviewing me taking turns asking questions. While I was responding they were typing out my responses for their boss to review and determine if I was eligible to hire.

Question 1
They asked me multiple behavioral questions and a few medical questions.
Easy interview, mostly checking for general competency. We covered a handful of job related questions, a couple of general "get to know you" questions, and then discussed when my start date could be. Overall pretty straightforward.
