I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Accenture (San Antonio, TX) in May 2010
Interview
Hustled HARD by recruiter; filled out and returned all paperwork for background check, had a phone interview with one person, supposed to be several people, AFTER the in-person interviews with 3 different people. All in one week, and I was told I didn't have the requisite skill sets. I felt like "chow" for the recruiter's headcount and will NEVER deal with this company again. (This was the 3rd time I was contacted by a recruiter for them and the only one that "followed up"; she told me she had been laid off by them and was now a contractor for them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not difficult, just weird: "If you couldn't get your car to start, what would you do 1st?"
Horrible interview process. Experienced 2 times in a year. For the first time had a successful phone interview with a lady who said she will put me in the list of selected applicants for further interviews as she liked everything that we discussed. Had several emails confirming that I'm still in the list but then they've just disappeared. Even did not bother to notify about anything.
Applied for another role a year later. Got a phone interview confirmation from a lady who named herself as the same person that I talked to a year ago but surprisingly she was a completely different employee pretending to be someone else. Had only a couple of a very basic meaningful questions. That's it.
Very messy, unprofessional and even suspicious. Avoid them
