I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Accruent in Feb 2016
Interview
The first step involved a telephone interview which went very well. The next step involved an online assessment test/quiz. I was then asked to repeat this same test/quiz onsite and advised that all candidates must repeat this test/quiz. My initial thought was this is creating a sense of mistrust at the onset. Did Accruent feel I did not complete the online test/quiz myself? Not a great way to begin a potential work relationship. When I arrived to retake the test/quiz I was led into a small room with a computer. I was instructed to use a stack of paper and pen only and not to use any electronics. Really? Who in the business world gives these instructions today? I completed the test/quiz and was escorted to the elevator.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accruent (Austin, TX) in Jun 2021
Interview
Pretty straight forward. A lot of ethical or dilemma type problems. After you get through the first phase, there is a second SET of interviews, generally 4-5 quick ones with different departments. All of them were about the same.
Was scheduled to meet with 3 different interviewers one day. When I showed up, they claimed the main interviewer was sick for that day so I had to sit down and do an interview over a conference call while another employee took notes. It seemed they had already filled the roll but when ahead and went through with my interview, essentially wasting everyone's time.
