Most unprofessional and appalling interview I have ever been a part of. Phone interview was rescheduled at the last minute and also cut short due to interviewer having other commitments. 1st red flag Was then invited on-site for an interview with a panel of 4 people. Several more red flags throughout - - there was no receptionist when I arrived so I had to flag someone down to notify the company I had arrived for the interview - they didn't have a conference room open to interview me in so I was walked around the office several times trying to find a room - I was told the company is like a family and are short-staffed so I would need to work long hours and wear many hats - staff admitted they have not enjoyed their time working there - each interviewer gave a different description of what the job would entail - I wasn't given the opportunity to ask questions and when I tried, staff rolled their eyes or cut me off - I was also praised by one interviewer for my experience and then insulted numerous times by another interviewer saying I wasn't qualified for even their lowest level position and that I should not have been invited on-site to begin with Was shocked to have been talked to that way in what is supposed to be a professional setting. The company also did not cover travel expenses for the interview. I withdrew my application immediately after leaving.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adagio Medical (Laguna Hills, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
I got an email from The hiring manager and was invited to do an in person interview with a panel of 3 people.
Typical interview where they asked me for my experience. They asked if I was comfortable working long hours because apparently that’s the culture at this company.
After the interview, I was straight ghosted. No response at all and then I discovered that they went with an internal candidate.

Question 1
Tell us about your experience working on various projects.
The interviewer asked good questions and was engaged with me. The flow of conversation was smooth and I was given the chance to ask questions to the interviewer about the company workstyle and employee culture.
