Interview
The interview process was quite lengthy. I had 3 interviews and then had to do an assessment.
They gave 2 weeks to complete the assessment. It was not a quick task and took a full week to complete. The task itself was about creating a roadmap for them on what features to include with regard to short and long-term goals. Very clear that they just wanted to steal ideas for free.
They ghosted me after the presentation of the assessment and never replied to my emails requesting feedback or updates. Says a lot about the company and I dodged a bullet.
Don't bother wasting your time interviewing unless they are going to pay you for your time doing the assessment.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AddSearch (Helsinki, Southern Finland) in Oct 2022
Interview
First TestGorilla tests to complete online. These were really easy. Then I was invited to an interview with a Hiring Manager. He was really nice, we talked about the position, my skills, expectations and etc. As a next step, I received a Take Home Assignment to complete in two weeks and it took me exactly two full-time weeks to complete it. THA: I had to analyze the current products; Prepare a roadmap for the next 6 months / 1 year for 2 different business lines (E-commerce and Enterprise); Take into account the number of engineers, market situation and etc. Prepare OKRs and metrics for the next 6 months/1 year for these businesses. THA was unpaid. When I sent the presentation, I was invited to a panel interview to present the THA. ...This was the last time I saw them or heard from them :)
