Ridiculous I had 4 interviews plus a panel Interview and they asked me to read a book on emotional intelligence prior to. I had to take 4 afternoons off from my current position and all of them were an exact replica of the prior one.

Initial phone screen followed by a telephone interview with the Area VP who was clearly on her cell phone and spent only ten minutes on the phone with me. I was then invited to participate in a panel interview over the phone. After that, I was invited to fly down for an on-site interview at MY expense! I declined and was offered a lengthy "motivational interview" on a conference line. If you happen to have a multi-lingual supervisor who has a thick accent, this can be considerably challenging. I was initially passed over for the position, however, the person they made the offer to backed out and I was then offered the position. They offered me a stingy relocation bonus which they promptly revoked after two months.

Informal interview by AVP followed by standardized interview in conference call with AVP, recruiter, clinical . tour of facility and interview with facility administrator. Job offer received week later. Was able to negotiate to some degree.
