The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (Rockville, MD) in Jun 2017
Interview
The interview process involves multiple steps but it was relatively quick. First, I spoke with internal recruiter for 5-10min. She gave me an overview of the job and really emphasized expectations. Almost seemed like she was trying to scare me away, but that is just how they make sure everyone understands what is expected. Then I was scheduled for phone interview with the same internal recruiter. Lasted about 30 mins and she just went through my resume. Then, I had to go in for an interview with the office I was applying at. It was a 2 person panel interview with the DBO and another AM. If you get through that, you then are scheduled for a half day shadow.
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
