      Enrollment Specialist Interview

      19 Mar 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Aflac

      Interview

1st interview is actually just an hour long informative group zoom call about the company and posisition. You will not talk at all to the recruiter. 2nd interview is a 15 minute conversation with little context and basically on boarded immediately

      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Aflac

      Interview

Virtual with 20 other applicants. Basically it was a presentation of their company's product rather than an interview. They Ask to introduce yourself and then start presenting like a sales pitch of their company.

      Enrollment Specialist Interview

      8 Aug 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Laguna Hills, CA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (Laguna Hills, CA) in Aug 2020

      Interview

      - Please read before applying (I wish I read the real reviews first & not the paid "positive" ones) - Filled out a form on their website & a local Recruiter reached out asking to talk on the phone. I called on the appropriate date & time, but only reached a voicemail. Called again & still voicemail. Received a text a few minutes later apologizing saying they were trying to get off the phone. Five minutes later they called & we spoke. For about 45 minutes we mostly spoke about COVID (I actually barely spoke, seemed like they needed to vent). Never talked about pay or if it was 1099 or W-2 (it's 1099, by the way). They were very eager to sign me up for their training right before ending the call, though. After the call, I texted them asking about pay. They said they would send me a commission breakdown. Never got one. I emailed them the next day sending them a friendly reminder as well as asking about the cost of training if I decided it wasn't a good fit (no refunds after an hour). This was the response back: "I suggest you start the 52 hour couse and see how you like it. The only thing you will pay for at this time would be scheduling the test ($88) and then filing the license with the state of California once you pass the test ($188). Take advantage of us paying for the course so you can get your license and see if working at Aflac is something you'd like to do." The lack of communication was a red flag, but the pushiness & (kind of) desperate attempt to get me to pay $275 for something I wasn't even 100% sure about was the real kicker.
