I had not one but two terrible experiences with this company. The first encounter with Airbyte were many rounds of interviews only to get to the final round for them to tell me that they hired someone else for the position. Okay, I'm a sales person and I can take rejection, but they reached out to me AGAIN. Yes, a second time. I was already employed in a position when they reached out but I still took the conversation because I wanted to see what their reasoning was for reaching out and what the process would be moving forward. Fast forward to two conversations later that went perfect, I was moved to the final round interview which was a presentation on-site. I started preparing for the presentation and finalize my deck a few days in advance and receive an email that they are stopping their hiring until the next quarter. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but quickly realized they are absolutely evil. I looked two days later and guess what I saw, the same role reposted to Linkedin.
If your company is not serious about hiring, do not reach out to candidates repeatedly baiting them with an opportunity, it's sick and will continue to ruin your company's reputation. If you think prospective hires aren't looking here, you are sorely mistaken.
