Akamai Bangalore interview process is just a waste of time & HR don't bother to update status after interview.
HR post the JD like they want to hire skills with Technical Architect but during interview you will come to know they need Computer Operator. You are overqualified. :)
I had lot of expectation from Akamai as always thought Akamai hires best talent. But in reality its totally opposite. It seems they just copy/paste JD from google & don't know what they are posting.
Even after having expertise in Oracle DBA, I prepared 3 days for Akamai interview as all Oracle DB advance skills (ex: OEM 12c/ 12c RAC/Upgrade/Migration/Installation Experience) was listed in JD. Have to take off from office as interview was on weekday.
But during interview I was told, we require candidate to work on basic tasks like password reset & user creation. Are you interested to work. :) You are overqualified.
Advice to Senior Management:
Train hiring manager to provide correct JD instead of copy/paste from Google.
Candidate deserves the status update if he is taking off on weekday for Akamai F2F interview.

Interview
There were eight rounds total.It was different experience overall while going through these many screening process. All the people starting from technical panel to directors are down to earth and very friendly. People in Akamai normally do not showoff.
