Unprofessional and disappointing experience.
I went through three rounds of interviews at Alchemist Technologies and was verbally offered a position. When I respectfully enquired if the salary could be slightly adjusted — something that is completely standard and professional — the HR team abruptly changed their tone. Despite me later confirming I was happy to accept the original offer, the communication from their side completely stopped.
I followed up multiple times — via messages and phone calls — but received no clarity, no formal withdrawal, and no closure. The fact that the company decided to drop a qualified candidate over a minor salary discussion, without the basic decency of a response, says a lot about their priorities.
It was disappointing to realize that a few hundred dirhams mattered more to them than professionalism, transparency, or talent. This is not how a candidate — or any professional — should be treated.
