I was contacted on LinkedIn via a third party recruiter. I was employed at the time but the job sounded interesting so I responded positively. First step was a screen with the recruiter, just went over career history and relevant experience. Next was a meeting with the manager of the team, nothing very technical, again mostly relevant experience and the like. Next was a meeting with a senior engineer on the team. It was meant to be the technical interview, but was very informal. We talked about a lot of technical subjects but there were no leetcode-style questions or any live coding. Next was a two hour session consisting of 15 minute meetings with each of the team members. There was no official format, so we just sort of talked about whatever the interviewer wanted to, so there were some technical parts but it was mostly just having a casual chat with each person. The final interview was with the VP of Engineering. It was a good talk, but mostly about business structure, exit strategy, etc, and it was pretty clear at that point that they were going to give me an offer. During the whole process the original recruiter kept me well-informed and was in contact with me at least once per week.
