I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Allume (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2019
Interview
Applied online and emailed my application. Didn’t hear back for a few weeks so I followed up. I then got an email asking me to do an online styling project where I style a client with three looks and explain each look. Super easy but time consuming. Plus they want it done in 48 hours. Sent it in and never heard back until I followed up again and got a generic rejection response. Looking at all of these terrible reviews however, I may have dodged a bullet

Interview
After submitting my cover letter and resume I received an email 2 days later saying that I was accepted to move forward in the next interview step. I was given an online mock styling assignment that I had 2 days to complete. I was to style a client with 3 complete looks based on the client info they provided me. Additionally, I had to answer 2 situational-based client questions.

Interview
The interview process was fun and fairly quick and easy. I was asked to send and updated copy of my email. After they received it I was asked to complete a styling assignment. I submitted it then I was asked would I be available for an interview. The interview was scheduled a couple of days later, and at the end of the interview I was asked to send three references. The interview took place on a Friday, and on that following Monday I was sent a job offer.
