After a long time without interviews, I was excited at first to get a call saying I had been found through a job search site and that AIL was interested in me. I am not a huge fan of sales, but I figured I would go to the "interview".
The "interview" was really a "group interview in a crappy building that was obviously rented. The office was sparse and dingy, the "office girls" as the manager called them were dressed in too much make up and revealing clothes. The manager sure made an impression by starting out alienating college grads, then asking who was married and who was single. I half expected him to ask who was gay, who was pregnant, and what religious beliefs we all had.
He also referred to all Hispanic/Latinos as "Mexicans". I got an offer for a second interview, and canceled. Sorry, not interested in a scam where you pay money to take courses and get licensed and then work on 100% commission. Any time someone says "unlimited income" run. It's a lie, unless seriously gray legal things are going on.
The icon on the cake is when I was called again for an interview, with the same exact pitch "we found your resume and think your qualifications" blah blah blah.
