I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at American Income Life (New York, NY)
Interview
Not up front about the job description: Not upfront about the company's name I was interviewing for until I arrived. Not honest about job expectations; I've worked a few sales jobs and I had the foresight to ask questions. Want you to supply your own car, own phone, own laptop, own gas money, and lastly; pay for your own insurance licenses and complete the schooling for it unpaid (Health and Life Insurance). I know all this; I went to a 2 hr interview and presentation on why I should want the job. They make it so the candidate should feel like,"Why do you want this job," when the job is not financially lucrative.
They will ask you several behavior questions, then they will give you an info session. After this, they will give you a final round interview. After this, they will ask you to accept this position.
