Ampersand Commerce interview questions

Was first given an initial interview 20 minute interview where I was asked things like why I wanted to work here and my general experience. Went well enough for me to be given a second interview with the company's technical director. Was told we'd be discussing my experience further and to have detailed examples of past projects prepared. I did this but wasn't asked about any of them. In a 10 minute call I was only asked to tell the interviewer about myself, which I did, and then the whole thing was concluded rapidly. No technical questions, nothing about projects. I then received an email the same day telling me my technical knowledge wasn't quite what they were looking for? Felt like a the interviewer had already made their mind up before even talking with me and then wanted to get our call over with as quickly as possible. Very disappointing and a massive waste of time

It was pretty scary experience, I came out in tears feeling low and felt in sufficient to apply any where else. The office space was good enough in central Manchester. I felt very suffocated felt I will not work even if I am offered the job.
