Anthem Memory Care interview questions

The interview was straightforward and afterwards did paperwork such as CAPS check and wrote down references. They called my references the next day, all of which let me know they gave me an amazing review. After not hearing from Anthem for a week, they finally emailed me saying they moved on with others. Why go through the trouble of contacting my references and hearing good things about me just to not choose me. Waste of space company.
