I dodged a bullet. The comments were right. The CEO was truly rude. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and went to the interview, but I wasted my time.
During the interview, he attempted to push his personal beliefs on me several times and made many presumptuous statements. He interviewed me indoors and did not bother to even wear a mask, in the middle of a pandemic. He then proceeded to offer me the job, but wanted me to complete a 6-hour long training without discussing the compensation first. When I asked about his offer's details, I never heard back. I wouldn't bother to write a review if I simply didn't get a job. Heck, my applications get denied all the time. It's ok to respectfully deny a candidate, but it's not ok to be rude and then expect others to give their time away without even going through the details of what they're getting into.
I have no doubt that most highly skilled individuals will filter themselves away from this employer.
