Submitted my resume and almost immediately got called for an interview.
Applied for a fitness manager position (this is the title that was advertised on indeed) because of job description, title and compensation range.
Indeed details:
$65,000-$75,000 base salary + performance incentives
Actual details:
• $24-$25 per hour for 35-40 hours per week.
• max of $60,000 if promoted to a club manager position
Went in for an interview to find out that the position they were hiring for was an assistant manager position and an hourly wage position.
The interviewer said they posted a job listing that didn’t represent the actual position they were hiring for because it would “attract top talent” versus the actual position.
The actual job details were nowhere near what was detailed online and hourly/wage compensation was significantly below the listed range.
This was a very misleading experience and would not have applied for the position if it was represented properly.
Complete waste of time.
