I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent interview experience for the Senior Java Developer position at your company. I have over 15 years of experience in web development using Java and was looking forward to discussing how my background aligns with your company's needs.
However, I found the interview process to be quite disappointing for several reasons:
Interview Panel Composition: I was interviewed by a junior team member with only 6 years of experience. For a senior-level role, it is crucial to have interviewers who can evaluate a candidate's experience and technical depth appropriately. This mismatch made it challenging to have a meaningful discussion on advanced topics that are relevant to the senior position.
Lack of Feedback: Despite spending more than an hour in the interview, I have not received any feedback on my performance or the interview outcome. A timely and constructive response is expected, especially after dedicating time and effort to the process.
Interview Experience: It appears that the decision-making criteria were not clearly communicated, and the interview process seemed unstructured and inconsistent with industry standards for senior roles. This could potentially discourage experienced candidates from considering opportunities with your company.
