I went through two full interview sessions with them, and after that they completely disappeared. I followed up more than once, but they still never responded or gave any kind of update. At this stage it is pretty clear they are not moving forward or even bothering to close the loop.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AppThis (Denver, CO) in Nov 2017
Interview
I was recruited by an employee and Mike Crabtree (CTO) from a presentation. After the initial introduction, I emailed Mike and we set up a time for me to come into the office.
In the office, I met various people on different teams. Talked with some people of similar backgrounds and asked about their experience.
Thereafter, Mike and I went into a conference room where we discussed the in's and out's of the business. We did a technical whiteboarding session.
It was described to me that if I was interested in a formal interview, to please contact him via email and he will set up a time for me to come in and meet with the team directly and go over my resume. Over the course of the next month, I emailed Mike 4 times with no response. Not even a "I'm sorry, we've decided to move forward with another candidate."
Unprofessional and childish.

Question 1
Given an array of integers, create two numbers to get the max sum and return the sum. ie [9, 1, 3, 5] => 93 + 51
The interview took a whole afternoon, and consisted of talking about the business, going through past experience and technical knowledge, pseudo-coding/whiteboarding, talking to the rest of the engineering team, and doing some logic puzzles (although I haven't heard of anyone else doing them since).
