      IPhone Product Design Engineer Interview

      9 Mar 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Cupertino, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Mar 2017

      Interview

Rigorous and exciting. Multiple phone interviews with technical screening questions, a week to do a design challenge, and then they brought me in. Was interviewed by maybe 8 different people (I lost track) for 30-45 minutes each, primarily on technical skills/knowledge and design intuition type questions. Then it culminated in a presentation of the design challenge, where they asked questions and poked holes, and found flaws in the design.
