I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple (Tucson, AZ) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview was technical in nature but also wanted to know if I would be a good fit. There was not much of a focus on team compatibility which was interesting to me.
I had a 15 to 20 mins chat with the recruiter, who described what the role was about and what skills they are looking for. Then the recruiter set up a technical interview with a hiring manager for me.
The interviewer came late and asked nonsense. He behaved super unprofessional and eat during the interview process. Finally, he ended the meeting 10 mins earlier. Bad experience and cautious about people related to manufacturing.
Initial recruiter screening followed by 5 technical interviews with members of the engineering team. The interviews focused on my experience, problem-solving approach, and technical knowledge relevant to optical systems and instrumentation.
