      Director Interview

      18 May 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Cambridge, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Arm (Cambridge, England) in May 2020

      Interview

I was quite impressed by the speed and professionalism of the process. It took only a day from the point that I submitted my resume until I got a call about the position. The company recruiter was really friendly, professional, and also supportive. He explained the process clearly, and I was constantly kept in the loop for any updates which was really comforting. An interview was scheduled with a panel over a video call for a week later. The interview went really well and the interviewers were extremely friendly. After the interview was over, a few days after I got a follow-up call from the recruiter expressing that the hiring manager decided to fill the position through an internal hire. Probably not what I wanted to hear, but still I appreciated all the professionalism and promptness in the process. I even felt that the recruiter himself was disappointed that I didn't secure the position.
