Long interview process with many stages, usual questions asked, different people in each stage, final outcome was they decided not to hire for the role. What a waste of everyones time.

Question 1
Have you had to deal with awkward characters and how would you handle the situation?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Arm (Cambridge, England)
Interview
First there was a telephonic interview from the hiring manager and a peer. The questions were mostly about the experience and what was written on the CV. Some situational questions on PM. Then there was a HR phone interview which was very basic, mostly about Cambridge.
In the third round I was asked to go to Cambridge and was interviewed by 6 persons for 3 hrs. 2 member panel per hr. This was tiring because a lot of questions were repetitive and I was bored of answering them again and again. Most questions were typical about strengths, weakness, why I should be selected etc. I had to make a 10 min presentation about the status of a project to the executive management.
There was not ONE single question about what I wanted or what ARM had to offer me. Maybe this is typical of a UK based company which is at its peak. But I wasn't too happy about that b'cos where I come from, the employer always states why they are a good company to join.
