Interview
I was initially sent a link to HireVue which I then took an interview through. The process is a little weird. You basically record your answers to a series of pre recorded questions. Bear in mind the entire process is recorded so from when you watch the question video to when you answer it. It feels incredibly awkward for me at least. I hate watching myself answer a question. I also feel super awkward recording myself to then send to a stranger to be rated. I guess the lack human contact throughout the process felt really dehumanizing. I also panicked a lot more easily than I normally would because there was no one there to get an impression of whether what I was saying was on the right track or not. I'm not a fan of the HireVue system. I can see it's value but I didn't enjoy my first experience using it.
