It was quite simple. Professor of the course which I was TA'ing for interviewed me and asked course related questions. Other than that they checked my ability to explain the concepts to students.

Interview
We were just made to talk about our passion and interest and that was all. Very informal conversation. Friendly panel. Went on for about half an hour. And got back to me very quickly too. It was in person as pre covid.
