My interview with Atlantic Health was a series of questions for management to get me to do what they wanted me to do. Will you be okay going to other facilities 1 week a year to allow someone else from another facility to go on vacation? Not telling me that this was putting me into a float pool and them telling me where i would go the day before (floating me to 4 of the facilities whenever they wanted to.) sometimes a different facility every day of the week. I was told i would be on call 1 day of the week and one weekend a month. This was a lie as I ended up being on call anywhere from 15-22 days a month. Per diems were permitted to pick first which meant they always picked the week days, which left the Full timers to be forced to pick up the call on all of the other days… meaning i was on call almost every weekend.

Initial phone call and email communication with recruiter. I was then invited to come on site, interviewed by 2 educators. Then received follow up call/invitation for a second interview and shadow day.

The process was quick. Nothing out of the ordinary. Standard questions. Reviewed your work history and asked how you would handle certain things. Shifts longer than anticipated. Everywhere still needs nurses.

Never gave me an interview, just declined every application because I am a new grad. Not sure they want to hire if you just graduated which indicates it is not a teaching/learning hospital at all.
