In my first coding interview, I was asked to add features to a React application. They requested that I share my VS Code with them. It's odd that I was not allowed to run the app locally to debug or anything. Whenever I finished writing the code, I had to ask the interviewer to refresh the page on which he was sharing the screen. It's unreasonable to expect to complete many tasks for a full application within a short amount of time. I got the features working, but I didn't have enough time to reach the last question. It seems they aren't well-prepared for the coding interview, as they ask many tasks to be completed in a short period. They didn't give me any time to ask questions at the end of the interview. I feel my time was wasted with this company.
