Avanti Restaurant and Grill interview questions

Multiple “trial” shifts were asked of me, they basically said I got the job but said that I needed to be in “training” for a while which would be a lower pay - couldn’t give a definitive answer about how long the training would be, saying that they would see how I get along and then we could talk about increasing the pay. and then after got no response after trying to contact them multiple times.
