I recently interviewed with Avertro and found the process disappointing, hurried and frustrating. The interview lacked structure and focused heavily on hypothetical "Spitfire" style questions that appeared to have little relevance to the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
Very little time was spent exploring my actual experience, track record, or ability to perform the role. Instead, the assessment seemed disconnected from the day-to-day requirements of the position, making it difficult to understand how candidates were being evaluated in a 20 minute call
The overall impression was that there was a lack of clarity around what the company was looking for in a candidate and how success in the role would be measured. As a result, the interview process felt unfocused and inconsistent.
My advice to prospective candidates would be to carefully consider whether the opportunity aligns with their expectations before investing significant time in the process. They are a small company, don't waste your time
