I applied online and I was contacted for an interview approximately 3 weeks later. This is probably by far the most laid back interview I've ever had--to the point I thought I blew it! The supervisor who interviewed me was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink--but I declined because I was a little nervous like most. The entire process, from applying online to being offered the position, to starting--probably took 1.5 months. I believe this was due (according to HR specialist) to the amount of candidates that where being interviewed and the military chain of command the organization has to adhere to. Anyhow, the interview was supposed to be 45 minutes long and mine lasted to about 60 minutes. One nice touch that I absolutely loved about the interview is that they pay for you parking. I was expecting to pay at least $20 for parking in Washington, DC but at the end I did not spend anything at all for parking-- now that is nice!
