      Unity Game Developer Interview

      17 Feb 2026
      Anonymous employee
      New Delhi
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Bamigos.com (New Delhi) in Jun 2024

      Interview

The interview was conducted in person. I was assigned a hands-on Kinect 3D task to create a basic motion-tracking game, with the entire office working day allocated to complete it. Following this, there was a Unity technical round. The questions were of moderate difficulty and suitable for someone with approximately one year of Unity development experience.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The discussion covered Unity fundamentals such as saving persistent data (e.g., PlayerPrefs), Scriptable Objects, and OOP concepts like inheritance and encapsulation. They also asked questions about the Unity execution order (Awake, Start, Update), how Time.deltaTime works, and other core engine concepts. The difficulty level was appropriate for a fresher or junior developer.
